Background: When Minoo, one of the Circle's witches, is recruited to be part of the Council's Circle (meant to replace the original chosen ones), Felix is one of those that Walter is told by the Protectors is to be part of the new Circle. So Felix is forced to move from Stockholm to Engelsfors, and he isn't happy about it. There, he discovers that Viktor has feelings for someone, and as he's in love with Viktor he gets jealouus. When he sees Viktor with Minoo he thinks it's her and doesn't really like her.

When the Council's Circle is gathered and watches the demonic solar eclipse, he's the one who reacts by looking for clues in the sky. Meanwhile everyone has their own reactions to the event. Walter and Minoo talks about the different signs of demonic energy, and when they reach the topic of the solar eclipse (the first sign that they are moving into the next stage) he can't help but mentioning that it couldn't have been a regular one. Walter tells him that it was unneccesary of him to point that out when it was so obvious, and that he shouldn't have cut in. When they're all done talking for the day he and most of the other members of the Council's Circle follows him.

The next time we meet Felix is in the ballroom at the mansion where the Council's Circle now lives (originally when members of the Council started appearing in Engelsfors, only Viktor, his invisible sister Clara and their adoptive father Alexander lived there). He's sitting on one of the gathered chairs, reading. When Minoo tries to start a conversation with him he isn't very responsive. He doesn't smile back at her, and he takes an extra second to reply to her words. Says the bare minimum. When Sigrid appears and she talks to Minoo, they talk about how cute Sigrid's familiaris Henry is. Henry is a mink. When they talk Felix cuts in with a comment of how Henry is "the world's cutest little murderer", and gives a small info on how minks kill more than they have to survive, that they eat bird eggs and kills animal babies. Sigrid's response is to pick at his book and making him withdraw for the moment. Minoo and Sigrid continues to talk, Felix commenting when he's either turned to or feels the need to leave a sarcastic remark.
When Nejla, the Council Circle's fire witch, shows up, she tells Minoo to show her something. As in use her powers. Felix tells her that she should do that herself, and Nejla puts his book on fire with a smirk. He gets the book out of his lap, yelling at her that she's out of her mind. When she puts the fire out he picks the book up and tells her that she's mature.

Some jabbering continues, everyone gatheres and then Walter shows up. He doesn't seem bothered by Nejla putting Felix's things on fire, and merely seems entertained. Nejla is pleased, Felix is bothered. Walter's comments make Nejla and Sigrid laugh at Felix and without a word Felix just brushes the soot off his hands and hides the book under his chair.

They take turns demonstrating their powers, and when the turn comes to Felix he reshapes a rock into the shape of a star. He sas that it's nothing special, but in her mind Minoo thinks that he's amazing to be able to do that. But next to the other's abilities she also thinks that it's not very impressive overall.
When Walter shows his abilities he asks Felix to be a test person for them. Felix is hesitant but he doesn't dare go against him so he comes forward and reaches out his hand when he's asked to. Without a thought Walter breaks Felix's finger. Felix cries out, and everyone in the room can feel an intense pain that is so strong it makes Minoo feel sick. Then it passes, and Walter shows off the broken finger. Felix is in tears from the pain, and Walter looks at him to tell him that he thought he had learnt to control "that", but that it's a problem they will have to deal with later. Then Walter simply heals Felix's hand, leaving it free of pain. After they have all showed their magic they go out in the garden to train.

Minoo watches everyone through her powers, sees the colour of their magic. Felix's is green, but is only as big as the light from a candle. She can see that whatever he's attempting to do is going to fail. When Walter speaks to her about the different levels the witches are at, it's obvious that Felix is the weakest out of them.

They're having a break to eat, and when Felix comes into the dining room he avoids looking at everyone. They talk about how much stronger they feel in Engelsfors, a place with strong magic, and goes over to the time they went on a school trip to a part of Las Vegas that was completely void of magic. The topic moves over to when their magical powers awakened, and Sigrid asks Felix if she's right in remembering he was 13. He nods with a pained expressino on his face.
Then, when Minoo looks at Viktor, she suddenly feels like she's in love. She's head over heels in love with Viktor, she's the only one who truly understands him, can't stop staring at his eyes or lips, wants Viktor two wrap his arms around her and protect her from the world, wants him to touch her and wants to touch him. She wants everyone else to get the hell away so they can be alone. Felix drops his glass and hurries out into the garden. Minoo feels the feeling disappear, and is really confused. Viktor tells them that he's going to go talk to Felix and follows even though both he and Sigrid looks bothered.
When they're alone, Sigrid explains what was going on to Minoo. What she felt was Felix's feelings for Viktor. Felix's powers isn't just to manipulate dirt and stone, he can contaminate people with his feelings as well. But he's horrible at controlling it. Sigrid tells Minoo that school was heinous for Felix after his powers woke up. Everyone at school knew he was in one-sided love with Viktor. And it didn't exactly get better when Viktor and Felix had a thing their last (3rd) year of high school. Their topic moves over to earlier in the morning when Walter broke Felix's finger. Sigrid points out that Walter always acts badly toward Felix. Their conversation is cut short when Adriana, Engelsfors high school's former principal and a witch of the Council, shows up to tell them that the enemy in the previous book has escaped.

Days later when they train again, Minoo can tll that everyone has grown a lot since they first started. Everyone except for Felix, even though he's the one who tries the hardest. When they all gather to talk Walter points out that Minoo is amazing and that he hopes everyone is inspired by her. It makes Felix glare at her.

Walter tells them that starting the next day they will begin practice at 5am. A nervous Felix asks if he's sure, and that he's just thinking of what Walter said the first day; that it's important to rest. Walter just stares at Felix before turning away and repeating that it's 5am. When Nejla loudly complains he just laughs and tells her that he felt the same thing when he was her age (16). Felix looks down into the floor. Walter continues to say that the following day is the trial for when Erik tried to kill Linnéa, and since Viktor is a witness he's going to be gone for parts of the day. Minoo thinks that maybe Walter just forgot that she's going to go to the trial as well, to support Linnéa, who is her friend and a member of the original Circle. Walter then says that there will be personal evaluations the next day, and gives Felix a look that makes him shift in his chair. Then he comes to Minoo, but instead of talking about the trial he tells her to stay the night since they start so early.

Later, after Minoo has installed herself at the mansion and it's lights out, Sigrid, Nejla and Clara sneak into her room with bottles of alcohol. They start to have a girls sleepover, and through a game of Never Have I Ever the topic gooes to Viktor and sex. Clara doesn't want to hear it, as Viktor is her twin brother, but the others continue. Minoo tells them that a lot of girls at school were interested in Viktor but since he never approached anyone they started dto assume he was gay, which was, according to Sigrid, Felix's dream scenario. But then she corrects herself and says that he would probably prefer if he was Felixsexual. Sigrid and Nejla try to figure out if Felix and Viktor used to have sex, and decides that they probably did. Through that they land on the topic of Walter's treatment of Felix. Minoo and Sigrid decide that if they see it happen again they're going to call Walter out on it. Nejla on the other hand thinks that Felix has to do that himself if he doesn't like it.

The next morning Minoo has a hangover. Besideds that, Walter tells them that a new sign, the metal sign, has appeared. All communications have stopped working. There's no working phones, no TV or internet.The only thing that works is the radio. When Felix asks if that's all of Engelsfors Walter gives him a nasty look and tells him that of course it is.

When they start the morning's practice they're going to try teleporting an item. The glass cube that they transport comes out ruined, and they all know that it's because of Felix. Minoo sees the disappointment on Sigrid and Nejla's faces, the exhaustion on Clara's, and the horror on Felix's. Viktor has to leave for the trial, and Walter starts to talk about the evaluations that are going to happen. He points out that they all know which one is the weakest link, and the anxiety rolls off Felix and into everyone else so hard that it almost makes Minoo fall backwards. "For fuck's sake, Felix" says Walter. When Felix apologizes and tells him that it wasn't on purpose, Walter tells him that that's the problem. Felix looks down at his hands. When Minoo looks at Sigrid due to their agreement Sigrid ignores her and jjust pets Henry instead.

Then Walter comes up with an idea. Maybe Minoo can help Felix. In the previous book she helped fix Clara's tangled magic that had made her invisible for years. Maybe she can do the same for Felix. Minoo is hesitant, and when she looks at his magic with her powers she sees that there's nothing wrong with it. It's Felix who is the problem, and his insecurities. She wants to tell Felix this in pprivate, but Walter tells her that everyone should hear it, and Felix tries to be brave and strong and agrees. When Minoo tells everyone in the room that it's Felix who is the problem, no the magic. Walter tells Felix that with him in the group it's all useless, and he doesn't care what Felix does, as long as he fixes it. Felix can't help it, he starts to cry, but everyone ignores his tears. Minoo thinks that the way Walter treats him can never be okay, and is relieved to see Sigrid raise her hand. She thinks that Sigrid is going to call Walter out, but instead she says that maybe they should replace Felix with a different witch. Walter says that sadly, even though he's thought about it himself, they can't, because the Protectors decided it should be him. However, the Protectors aren't happy with Felix, and he says that they've been worries. And so has Minoo. Then and there he tells everyone, in the worst wording possible, that Minoo has been watching their powers and seen that Felix is by far the weakest one there. Minoo can feel the intense wave of hatred coming from Felix, and this time she's sure she was supposed to feel it.

Minoo sneaks into Adriana's room to get a box that the Chosen Circle needs to save the world, with the help of Clara. But they're caught by Adriana, but she doesn't want to get them in trouble. Instead she wants her to release the bonds of the Council on her and when it's done, Adriana is in something similar to a coma. Walter catches them and opens up Clara's self harming scars to get her to talk. To get Minoo to do what he tells her he threatens to kill everyone she cares for, even little kids who can't defend themselves.

Later, Viktor and Clara shows up in front of the Chosen Circle. They're there to help them, because they know that Walter doesn't know how the Council's Circle is supposed to close the gates that the Demons are trying to get through, and if he doesn't know that they can't save the world. It has to be the original Circle. They have to get Minoo. They try to figure out who is on the Council's side and who is on theirs, and they know that Alexander and Sigrid are with Walter. Clara says it's given that Felix is on Viktor's side, but no one is sure about Nejla. An explosion is heard, caused by a non-witch falling asleep Everyone who wasn't born a witch is now asleep, including Alexander who is a witch through training.

Linnéa, Anna-Karin, Vanessa (the remaining members of the Chosen ones, as they and Minoo are the only ones still alive after book number 2), Viktor and Clara infiltrate the mansion. Anna-Karin and Linnéa goes to find Minoo, knowing she's with walter in his office, while Vanessa and Clara goes to save Adriana. Viktor shows up with them, but when they are about to leave, Sigrid, Nejla and Felix show up. Felix only has eyes for Viktor, and he's upset. Sigrid has a knife in her right hand, pressed against Adriana's throat in a threat to kill her if the others try to leave. She orders Felix to go get Walter, and with a deep breath he... runs his hand through the wall. Everyone feels the intense pain of his right hand breaking and Sigrid drops the knife. Viktor pushes Sigrid away from Adriana, and starts to move the wheelchair she's in. The pain goes back to being something only Felix feels, and everyone leaves Sigrid, Vanessa telling Sigrid that she can't trust Walter.

Personality: One of the first things you might notice about Felix is that he doesn't come off as very friendly. If he doesn't like you he can actually be downright unfriendly. But he prefers it that way, and that with a very good reason. And that reason is that he's scared of feeling intense feelings, because his feelings has gotten him bullied for several years. Felix prefer to act aloof, and like he doesn't really care about his surroundings or like he doesn't like anyone. He prefers it when he doesn't like someone, as it doesn't make it as likely for the other person to find feelings to mock him for. But even so, Felix has a hard time controlling his emotions. Try as he might not to feel anything, the truth of the matter is that his feelings are more often than not very intense. When he's happy he's happy, when he's jealous he's extremely so. He is a very closed off and reserved person, who doesn't like speaking about himself very much. He is more open toward Viktor, but since he knows that Viktor doesn't love him back, he's still not completely open. He wants to protect Viktor, but he also wants Viktor to take him in his arms and protect him from the world. And to Felix, there are a lot of painful things around, due to being bullied and looked down upon by everyone in the Council, who values strength and law higher than anything else.

Sarcasm is a shield. It's his protection against mean comments and mistreatment. He uses it so much that it's second nature and around people who spend time around him and whom he doesn't like he might use that more than a regular tone of voice or make actual conversations. He's more comfortable using sarcasm than being honest, as it help keeping people at a distance. He plays strong a lot of the time, like when Walter wants Minoo to tell Felix if she can help him with his powers or not in front of everyone. He tells her at the time to just tell her, putting up a strong front, but when she tells him he gets too many emotions and feels so useless that he can't stop the tears.

Felix has a big inferiority complex. He looks down on himself, and knows that he's weak. And after having been bullied for so long he doesn't dare act like he's anything but, and thinks of himself as the one who causes failure in group works like the glass cube, and the weakest link. He barely has any confidence at all, and though he tries to hide it through snide remarks and sarcastic comments, it isn't hard to notice that he hurts easily and doesn't think good of himself. If anything, he dislikes himself, and he desperately wishes that he could have had someone else's powers. There's been times when he especially wishes for Clara's powers of invisibility.

But for all that he is weak and sensitive, he can be strong when he has to. This is especially seen when he chooses to break his own hand to disarm Sigrod, even though he hates when others feel what he's feeling. He knows it's useful at times like that, and he's willing to hurt himself if he needs to. He doesn't like people, but he will do his best to protect those that he cares for.

Powers: Is a witch. Control dirt and stone to some (lesser) degree, can make others feel his own feelings when the feelings are intense.

These wakeup calls? I've been getting them every single day for an entire month straight, and it won't stop no matter how many times I tell them I don't want them. Did anyone else have this problem and how did you end it?

[ Okay, he's humiliated himself enough for one day now, so he reaches out to shut the camera off now. His face is close to burning. ]
